Lebanese Muhammara (Roasted Red Pepper and Walnut Dip)

Ingredients
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar roasted red peppers, drained
  • ⅓ cup walnuts, chopped
  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsps. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • ¾ tsp. cumin
  • ½ tsp. each coriander, salt
  • ¼ tsp. each black pepper, cayenne
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend smooth.
  2. Transfer muhammara to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika or cayenne (optional). Serve at room temperature.
