⅓ cup of caramel syrup to coat bundt pan. Do not add to custard mix
Instructions
Cake
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, cream eggs and sugar together. Add bananas, vanilla, oil, cinnamon, walnuts and milk. Blend with an electric mixer until bananas are smooth. Slowly add dry ingredients and mix with electric mixer until smooth.
Grease a 12 cup bundt pan and pour in ⅓ cup of caramel syrup, coating the bottom of the pan.
Pour in cake mixture.
Custard
Put all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth.
Pour custard mixture into bundt pan on top of cake mixture.
Place bundt pan inside of a roasting pan (or a deep, large baking dish) and fill roaster with hot water, about 1 inch up bundt pan.
Cover bundt pan with foil.
Place in oven and bake for 1 hour.
Remove foil and bake for another 50 minutes, or until knife comes out of cake clean.
Let cake cool and then place in refrigerator. Serve cold.
